HART U-Pass

All currently registered USF students, along with current USF staff and faculty who hold USF Cards, can use their USF Card to ride HARTline buses.  Students are Fare-Free and staff and faculty only pay 25 cents.  Just board, show the driver your USF Card, and go!

HART is the bus service provided by the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART). There are 25 HART bus stops on the USF campus.

Benefits of the USF Pass Program

  • No searching for parking spots on campus

  • Affordability: Free or reduced bus fare & no gas tank to fill up.

  • Less driving = less stress, less traffic, less commute concerns

Fare-free rides are available on all of HART's local bus routes and on limited-express service. Your USFCard is NOT valid on HART Express routes, TECO Line Streetcar system or the HARTplus para-transit service.

Route Information

You can access detailed route information at www.hartline.org  or by calling HARTinfo line at (813) 254-4278. Hartline schedules are available at the USF Marshall Center, UATC, area malls & libraries, Hillsborough County Courthouse, City Hall, HART offices, and USF Parking & Transportation Services offices.

Frequency

The frequency of HART bus service varies from route to route. Buses operate seven days a week, with reduced service on weekends and some holidays. Please consult an appropriate bus schedule for accurate timetable information.

Can HART buses accommodate bicycles?

Yes, all HART buses (and Bull-Runner Shuttles) are equipped with exterior-mounted bike racks.
