Overview |
By sharing a ride with one or more people, a student or faculty memeber can save money on gas, and parking because passengers share these expenses with fellow carpool members. Carpoolers can choose to ride with others as few or as many times per week as desired, giving them the flexibility of driving their own car for pre-arranged meetings or appointments. You can form your own carpool or get an online matchlist from the Bay Area Commuter Services (BACS) database. Visit www.tampabayrideshare.org/contact_registform.htm. You will be given a list of ride matches. Then it's up to you. You can also go to The Tampa Bay Commuter listings to locate commuters in your neighborhood who want to carpool. What are the benefits?
