The purpose of the Transportation Information Service newsletter
is to inform, update, and educate members of the New North Transportation
Alliance and the public on local mobility issues, projects and developments.

WANTED:
Riders for Route 52LX
HART listened to current and prospective riders, and
changed Express Route 52XL from an express route to a limited express route
with additional stops. The new route began service as a limited express (LX)
on March 20, and now makes a loop through the USF campus, with stops on
Fletcher Avenue, Magnolia Drive, Holly Drive and 131st Avenue.
The new service is eligible for use under the HART/USF U-PASS Program. USF
students can ride the service free with a valid University identification
card. Faculty and staff pay only 25 cents to ride each way. The regular fare
to ride the service changed to the local fare structure and costs $1.50 each
way.
The new bus stops are convenient to the University Community Hospital, H.
Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and the James A. Haley VA Medical Center. In
addition, USF students and faculty members will be able to enter the campus
without transferring at the University Area Transit Center.
