Are You Up to the
Challenge?
Think you have what it
takes to win the Tampa BayCycle Challenge? Then get out there and start
riding your bike! During National Bike Week, May 12-16, 2008, individuals
and businesses alike can participate in the Bicycle Commuter Challenge, a
contest to see who can log the most miles ridden to and from work. Those
with the higher numbers logged win, simple as that!
In order to be
eligible, all commuters must log their information daily in GoLog, an online
trip tracker to record number of miles ridden. Prizes include bike lights,
helmets, locks, gift certificates, and more.
In addition to the

promoting bicycle commuting, also have the challenge of recruiting the
highest number of “Friends” to join Tampa BayCycle. The Friends of Cycling
are people who have pledged to ride their bike to work, school, for
recreation or errands instead of driving, at least one day during May.
